Alpacas of York

 Alpacas of York

I cannot believe I found out about this place just now! I am going to share my experience with you in hopes of inspiring you to make a visit!

The address of the location:

Alpacas of York
445 Blossom Dr.
Mt. Wolf, PA 17347

Hours of operation:

Currently, they are open on Saturdays from 11AM to 2 PM. I asked if they opened on other days and she said they are open on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the warmer seasons. I would recommend that you check the hours of operation before heading to the location. CLICK HERE for their website.

Cost:

Free
The food for the alpacas were provided to us for free and we were allowed to go interact with the alpacas at no cost. However, support them by buying something from their gift shop! They had such beautiful products to pick from.

What Happened When We Went:

When My friend and I initially got there, we were confused as to how the whole operation worked. We saw alpacas in an enclosed location with a crowd of people inside. We wandered around aimlessly at first. Then, we noticed that there was a store in the front area. We entered the store to find someone who worked at the farm.

The lady at the counter was super friendly and welcoming. She said she would take us over to the alpacas! They even gave us a bag of food for the animals. The workers were all so friendly and informative. They told us about how to pet them and which alpacas to stay away from. They let us roam around the enclosure freely. Everyone was having a great time. The alpacas were so adorable and they all had such different personalities. We were able to take a ton of photos with them. After we were done, we just walked out.

Such an amazing experience! I just want everyone to know what a great location this is. It's a great way to spend your Saturday.
